The CLX Trace Explosives & HME Precursors Detector is a handheld advanced trace detection system for military and homemade explosives including precursors.  

It uses a chemiluminescence detector and an MOS sensor array, samples are collected from contaminated surfaces with a high efficiency swab or with the use of a portable external vapor sampler.

It will detect Nitric acid, Perchlorate, Chlorate, Sulfur, Hydrogen peroxide, Picric acid, AN, NG, HMX, RDX, TNT, TETRYL, ETN, R-Salt, C4, SEMTEX, TATP, HMTD, HNS, CL-20, UN, ANFO.

It can be used by operators at security checkpoints with minimal training.
